Malakai’s Family

The latest update on Malakai can be read here. The original story is here. The family’s last hope to get Malakai to safety lies in a new attorney who believes that he can get him back home. He is planning to file an appeal. They have less than 60 days to come up with the down payment on the retainer fee for the private attorney, which is $3000. If they cannot do this by January 6, they don’t see any other hope of getting Malakai back to his family. Grandmother Kimberly Deese lives on a fixed income, and the family does not have the financial means to fight for Malakai without help.
