While most of the U.S. public is watching the circus show currently playing in Washington D.C., a much more serious situation is developing in Russia right now as the war there has escalated the past few days in a major way, with the U.S. launching HIMARS missiles last night into a residential area of Russia, including a primary school, where at least 6 civilians are reported dead.

Kiev has launched a massive missile attack using Western weapons on the town of Rylsk in Kursk Region, Aleksandr Khinshtein says

Ukrainian forces launched a missile attack on Rylsk in Russia’s Kursk Region on Friday, killing six people, including a child, and injuring ten others, acting governor of the region Aleksandr Khinshtein has said.

The official added that Kiev’s troops had used US-made HIMARS missiles.

The strikes caused extensive damage to civilian infrastructure throughout the city, damaging a a house of culture, a primary school, and living and study quarters belonging to Rylsk Aviation College.

The attack also shattered windows in apartment buildings and impacted several private homes as well as 15 or more vehicles.

“What happened today is a huge tragedy for all of us,” Khinshtein wrote in a Telegram post.

The work of emergency services has been complicated by repeated attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the governor added.

He expressed confidence that those responsible for the attack would face retribution and that all destroyed infrastructure will be repaired. (Full article.)

Russian investigators have allegedly opened up a criminal case against the attacks earlier today, calling it a terrorist attack.

Russian Investigators Open Terrorist Attack Case Over Kiev Strikes on Russia’s Rylsk

The Russian Investigative Committee said Friday that it has opened a criminal case on terrorist attack charges over the Ukrainian strikes on the city of Rylsk in Russia’s Kursk Region.

“On this fact, the Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on the signs of a crime under point B, part three of Article 205 of the Russian Criminal Code [terrorist act],” the statement said. (Full article.)

Earlier this week, Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov was assassinated right in front of his home in Moscow, allegedly by an exploding battery in a scooter in front of his apartment building that was detonated remotely.

The murder of Russian Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov was an act of terrorism, President Vladimir Putin has insisted, adding that Kiev has repeatedly commissioned such attacks on Russian soil without receiving any condemnation in the West.

Putin made the remarks on Thursday during his annual end-of-year press conference, describing the assassination of the general, who headed the country’s Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Defense Forces, as a terrorist attack perpetrated through “publicly dangerous” means.

“The regime in Kiev has repeatedly committed such crimes – terrorist attacks against many citizens of Russia. And even now, in the Kursk region, they execute civilians… they have been killing journalists. We have never heard condemnation of such terrorist attacks” in the West, Putin stated.

Kirillov was killed alongside his aide in an explosion outside his Moscow residence early on Tuesday.

Russian investigators said an improvised explosive device packed with up to 1kg of TNT was concealed inside an electric scooter parked right outside the building, with the site monitored through a camera planted inside a carsharing vehicle parked across the road.

On Wednesday, Russia’s Investigative Committee announced it has detained a 29-year-old national of Uzbekistan, suspected of carrying out the attack.

The suspect has since admitted being recruited by Ukrainian intelligence, and that they promised to pay him a $100,000 reward and provide safe passage to the EU in exchange for eliminating the general. (Full article.)

It is being reported that Kirillov was targeted because he has been investigating and exposing alleged US-funded biolabs in Ukraine.

The world deserves answers – not just about Igor Kirillov’s death, but about the controversy he was investigating

The shocking assassination of Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia’s Radiological, Chemical, and Biological Protection Forces, reverberates far beyond the streets of Moscow.

On December 17, 2024, Kirillov was killed in a brazen bombing, an act the Russian government has denounced as terrorism. While the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) – Kiev’s successor to the Soviet KGB – via ‘anonymous sources’ cited in multiple media outlets, has claimed responsibility, labeling Kirillov a war criminal, the truth about his death is likely far more complex – and far more chilling.

Russia is, of course, threatening to retaliate, and they have published articles in the past couple of days seemingly reminding the U.S. and NATO that they now have a missile that is “invincible”.

Russia’s Invincible Oreshnik Has Left West in The Dust – Ex-DoD Analyst

Russia’s Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic ballistic missile grabbed the attention of military observers the world over after it was fired at a major defense-related enterprise in Dnepropetrovsk days after the US and the UK okayed the launch of ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles at targets deep inside Russia.

The West is in denial about Russia’s Oreshnik missile that defense systems are powerless to counter, Michael Maloof, former senior security policy analyst in the Pentagon, told Sputnik.

He pointed out that Russia’s multi-warhead, nuclear-capable Oreshnik has left the United States far behind.

“The US not only does not have a hypersonic offensive system – it doesn’t even have a defensive system that has any hope of stopping Oreshnik and the new class of missiles that are coming out,” the veteran analyst maintained.

While the US scrambles to be in the vanguard of such cutting-edge weapons systems, in effect it tends to “put all the bells and whistles on a system, overprice it and then fall behind,” said Maloof.

Washington is reluctant to acknowledge that both Russia and China have weapons systems that the US does not have, namely, hypersonic missiles.

The pundit speculated that if the United States had remained in the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, a missile like the Oreshnik might not exist today.

He observed that Russia’s clear demonstration of the missile’s unmatched capabilities serves as “another way of Putin telling Trump to maybe reconsider.” (Full article.)

So far, Russia has limited its response to these attacks inside Russia, to attacking military sites inside Ukraine, as well as Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

But with U.S. attacks now being launched against civilians inside Russia, and brazenly taking down a general right in the heart of Moscow, an attack against NATO forces outside of Ukraine could be imminent.

I have been monitoring these developments every day, and in my opinion, the most likely attacks against NATO forces outside of Ukraine could most likely be in Poland where there are significant NATO weapons stored, and possibly the Scandinavian countries of Norway and Finland.

Finland just became a member of NATO last year, and shares a long border with Russia.

Norway produces much of Europe’s energy, which stood at 29% before the Ukraine war, and has increased significantly since then, especially with the destruction of the NORD Steam pipeline out of Russia.

If, however, Russia is seriously escalating the war, which at this point seems to be the goal of the U.S.’s military strategy to provoke Russia with these latest attacks, they could send bombs into Western Europe, with bombs sent into the Rothschild empires in London and Paris, having the most severe psychological impact on Europeans who are already sick of the Ukraine war and no longer want to support it.

As I reported back in 2022, an alleged leaked military report from the RAND Corporation seems to indicate that the main goal of the Ukraine War was to get Europe more dependent upon U.S. energy exports. See:

And it most certainly worked for 2022, as U.S. energy profits reached record levels for that year.

“Drill Baby Drill!”

But the globalists have had a difficult time keeping the price of crude oil high, and it appears that this is one of the major objectives of the new Trump administration.

This is what Trump was reported as saying earlier today:

Trump to Europe: Buy more of our oil and gas or face tariffs

President-elect Donald Trump doubled down on his tariff threats Thursday night, pledging to raise tariffs on European Union nations unless they increase their purchases of American oil and gas to narrow the trade gap with the United States.

“I told the European Union that they must make up their tremendous deficit with the United States by the large scale purchase of our oil and gas. Otherwise, it is TARIFFS all the way!!!” Trump posted on Truth Social, which is owned by his media company.

On the campaign trail, Trump routinely said he would work to ramp up America’s fossil fuel production — even though the United States produces more oil than any nation in history. He has promised to loosen regulations on new drilling and fracking, and his message that Europe must buy more energy from America is consistent with his pledges.

But the United States is already the largest supplier of liquefied natural gas to Europe, according to the US Energy Information Administration.

Europe has largely weaned itself off Russian natural gas during the ongoing war with Ukraine, making large-scale purchases of gas from America to make up for some of the difference. (Full article.)

There are other signs also that efforts are under way for Big Oil to continue earning profits from oil under a Trump administration, even with laws in place to develop more “green” energy.

The current AI frenzy that started at the end 2022 is now moving on to figure out how to power all of these new power-hungry computer superchips, with many investors in Big Tech looking towards possible nuclear power sources.

Last week, interestingly, it was reported that Exxon now had a plan to start powering these huge data centers with “clean” fuel derived from natural gas.

Exxon Plans Large Nat Gas Plants To Supply Electricity To Data Centers

It isn’t just nuclear projects getting in on the “selling power to data centers” trend – now oil supermajor Exxon is joining the trend.

In fact, Exxon is planning a large natural gas-powered plant to supply electricity directly to data centers, incorporating technology to capture over 90% of its carbon emissions, according to the New York Times.

This would be Exxon’s first power plant not dedicated to its own operations. Carbon capture systems remain rare and costly, despite federal subsidies, limiting their broader adoption.

CEO Darren Woods said this week: “There are very few opportunities in the short term to power those data centers and do it in a way that at the same time minimizes, if not completely eliminates, the emissions.”

Exxon exec Dan Ammann added: “We’re being driven by the market demand here. It’s low carbon, it’s available on an accelerated timeline and it avoids all the grid interconnection challenges.” (Source.)

And while investors are fearful that the price of crude oil may continue to slide, it was announced today that there is one investor who is increasing his shares in Big Oil.

The Berkshire Hathaway CEO spent more than $400 million on Occidental Petroleum shares, which just hit a nearly 3-year low amid fears that oil prices may keep falling

Shares of Occidental Petroleum Corp. surged Friday, after Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. boosted its stake in the oil-and-gas company even as Wall Street was doing the opposite.

But that keeps with the well-known Buffett trading maxim: to be greedy when others are fearful. (Source.)

And if those aren’t enough signs that Trump and his Rockefeller buddies are making plans to Make Oil Great Again, here is one more.

Shortly after Trump won the elections, Paramount Plus started streaming a new TV show that is currently the most popular show running, titled “Landman.”

(Please note that this is NOT a “family friendly” show, with lewd scenes, sexual immorality, and almost every other word coming out of the characters’ mouths being the “F” word.)

This show that debuted November 17th is clearly designed to create a favorable image in the minds of Americans towards Big Oil.

It accurately depicts just how dependent we are on oil and all of its byproducts that are such a huge part of our everyday lives, and that alternative energy is “anything but clean” and is still dependent on “fossil fuels”, but then it mixes in the one big lie of the oil industry: Peak Oil.

They need people to have not only a positive view of the oil industry, but also believe in “Peak Oil,” the false narrative that we are going to soon run out of oil in the world which will doom the human race if we don’t soon come up with something to replace it.

But the fact is that the evidence is overwhelming that abiotic oil is true, and that the earth is constantly reproducing oil, and that it should not cost us much more than what it cost to produce water supplies.
