The political theater in Washington D.C. has had some interesting episodes this week, and their theatrics have been headline news since last night at the time of my writing this.

Let’s see if I can report on the various acts that have been completed so far, and determine what the message is from this show, both what they want the public to believe, and what might be the real underlying meaning being played out on the greatest stage on earth, Washington D.C.

This is another opening act of the new hit series show coming to Washington D.C. soon , the Elon Musk and Donald Trump show.

Together, they managed to interrupt the current programming that is soon coming to an end, giving the nation a preview of what is scheduled to be coming soon, and which they hope will be a smashing new hit show to reach most American viewers.

The title of this show that started last night and preempted the current program, is “We’ll Shut Down the Government if You Don’t Give Americans What They Want,” which is almost always a cover story for what is really going on behind the scenes, which is probably actually “We’ll Shut Down the Government if You Don’t Give What We, the Billionaires Running the Country, Want.”

Introduction to the Show

As far as I can tell, the Opening Act happened Tuesday, December 17, 2024, which announced that the GOP Speaker of the House Mike Johnson had reached a deal with Democrat lawmakers to pass a Continuing Resolutions (CR) bill to stop the U.S. Government from shutting down tomorrow, Friday, December 20, 2024.

This immediately cast the House leader as the villain in this show, as other GOP members of the House feigned anger over this deal.

Hill Republicans say funding deal reached, but Johnson’s dealmaking with Democrats stirs anger among conservatives

Congressional Republican leaders have informed their members that they’ve reached a deal on government funding, with staffers now racing to finalize hundreds of pages of text, according to four GOP sources.

But House Speaker Mike Johnson’s late-December dealmaking with Democrats is stirring intense anger across his GOP conference, just days before a government spending deadline and weeks before the pivotal vote the Louisiana Republican needs to win to keep his gavel.

The deal is expected to extend funding into March, averting a shutdown this year and setting up a spending showdown in the early days of the Trump administration.

The deal — which Johnson told CNN he hopes to release Tuesday afternoon — involves nearly $100 billion in disaster aid and $10 billion in relief for farmers in rural communities, those sources said. (Source.)

As you can see for this first advertisement for this show, the emotions and reactions to this bill were already being reported and discussed, before anyone in the media had even read the bill yet.

Once the details of the bill were revealed to the media the next day, Wednesday December 18, 2024, the show moved on to the next acts.

Act 2 – Ethics Committee Reverses Decision on Report About Matt Gaetz Sexual Abuse Investigation

First, CNN and others reported that The House Ethics Committee which was investigating Rep. Matt Gaetz on sexual misbehavior with minors, who has since resigned from Congress, had now reversed their decision not to release the report since Gaetz had already resigned from Congress, and now were going to release it after all.

The House Ethics Committee secretly voted earlier this month to release its report into the conduct of former Rep. Matt Gaetz before the end of this Congress, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the matter.

The report is now expected to be made public after the House’s final day of votes this year as lawmakers leave Washington for the holidays, those sources said.

The vote, which has not previously been reported, amounts to a stark reversal for the panel after it had voted along party lines in late November not to release the results of the investigation.

The decision to release the report suggests that some Republicans ultimately decided to side with Democrats on the matter, and it is unclear if the committee will once again change course now that it has voted.

When the committee voted last month to shelve the report, Gaetz was President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to be attorney general. Since then, Gaetz withdrew himself from consideration for the Senate-confirmed post, though he maintains frosty relations with many in his party and is still active in GOP politics. (Full article.)

Now remember what Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said last month when this controversy surrounding Trump’s nomination of Gaetz to lead the DOJ was happening:

Marjorie Taylor Greene: GOP Covered Up ‘Sexual Harassment and Assault’ Claims

Marjorie Taylor Greene made a sensational allegation that her Republican colleagues in Congress have covered up “sexual harassment and assault claims” by paying off victims with taxpayer money.

The MAGA diehard made the revelation as a growing number of GOP politicians have expressed reservations about Donald Trump’s choice to appoint the scandal-scarred ex-lawmaker Matt Gaetz to be his attorney general.

“For my Republican colleagues in the House and Senate,” she began. “If we are going to release ethics reports and rip apart our own that Trump has appointed, then put it ALL out there for the American people to see.”

Greene’s request would include the House ethics committee releasing the findings of its probe into the 42-year-old Gaetz, who was accused this week of paying two women for sex.

One of those women reportedly testified that they also witnessed the then-freshman Congressman have sex with a 17-year-old girl at a house party five years ago.

Greene said there’s other lawmakers with skeletons in their closet, but stopped short of calling them out by name.

CNN reported in 2017 that Congress paid an eye-popping $17 million to victims of sexual harassment and discrimination via the body’s Office of Compliance since its creation in the 1990s.

“All the ethics reports and claims, including the one I filed,” Greene said, listing the things she wants to be made public.

“All your sexual harassment and assault claims that were secretly settled paying off victims with tax payer money. The entire Jeffrey Epstein files, tapes, recordings, witness interviews.”

The Georgia firebrand ended with a commitment to make public as many purported claims as possible:

“If we’re going to dance, let’s all dance in the sunlight. I’ll make sure we do.”

What would have changed in regards to this alleged cover-up of sexual abuse among other members of Congress including the release of “Epstein recordings” that Greene was referencing?

There was a provision in the Government Shutdown CR bill to prevent subpoenas being issued on House members for data, including emails, in any House investigation.

The provision in the CR says that “upon a motion made promptly by a House office or provider for a House office, a court of competent jurisdiction shall quash or modify any legal process directed to the provider for a House office if compliance with the legal process would require the disclosure of House data of the House office.” (Source.)

The script written for this Act of the new show, blamed the Democrats for this provision, giving their own version of the reason this provision was put into the bill, which they say was to prevent an investigation into the now-defunct House committee that investigated the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021. However, this provision could have just as easily been included by Republicans who wanted to hang Gaetz out to dry while this new law would NOT allow any investigations into their own personal lives where sex abuse and child sex trafficking could be discovered, especially in their emails.

If the bill fails, or if this provision is removed, look for the House Ethics Committee to change their minds again about releasing their report.

Act 3: Elon Musk Gets Angry – But Why?

After Elon Musk read the bill, he took to his bully pulpit on X to rally the MAGA troops to oppose this bill, and then allegedly got Donald Trump to join in with him and effectively kill the bill yesterday, December 18, 2024.

Trump joins Elon Musk in opposing House GOP’s government funding bill

President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday came out against a Republican-backed government funding bill, siding with Elon Musk’s crusade against the package and raising the odds of a government shutdown.

Trump is opposed to the continuing resolution put forward by Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson, according to a source familiar with the president-elect’s thinking, who was granted anonymity to describe private conversations.

The source confirmed that Trump told a Fox News host he is “totally against” the CR.

Later Wednesday afternoon, Vice President-elect and Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, released a joint statement from him and Trump declaring that politicians should “pass a streamlined bill” that doesn’t give Democrats “everything they want.” (Source.)

All the typical MAGA talking points were used by Musk to oppose this bill, including blaming the Democrats for everything and their “wasteful pork-barrel spending”, which of course the Republicans do just as much, if not more, than the Democrats.

But when you are talking about Billionaires getting involved in politics, you must always look at what’s in it for them, or in this case, what is in this bill that hurts them?

Because they always care more about their wealth and power than they do about the welfare of the general public.

And in fact, there were some provisions in the CR bill that would also hurt Big Tech, such as the TAKE IT DOWN Act, which had recently passed the Senate with bipartisan support, but had not yet been brought to the floor of the House of Representatives.

This ACT, should it become law, would force social media sites, like X, to remove deepfake pornography of children within 48 hours of being notified by the victim.

Anti-deepfake porn bill included in funding deal

A bill that seeks to fight the rise of deepfake pornography was included in the year-end government funding deal unveiled Tuesday, raising the prospect the legislation could cross the finish line in the coming days.

The TAKE IT DOWN Act would criminalize nonconsensual intimate imagery, including content generated by artificial intelligence (AI), and would require platforms to take down such material after being notified of its existence.

The bill passed the Senate earlier this month, but had yet to be taken up by the House. Its inclusion in the year-end continuing resolution, which needs to pass by Friday to avert a government shutdown, boosts its chances.

“Over the past several months, courageous victims of AI-deepfake ‘revenge porn’ have shared their stories to raise awareness and inform lawmakers’ efforts to stop this despicable behavior,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who introduced the legislation, said in a statement.

“Passage of our bipartisan TAKE IT DOWN Act will give innocent victims — many of whom are teenage girls —the opportunity to seek justice against deviants who publish these abusive images,” he continued.

“It will also hold Big Tech accountable by making sure websites remove these disgusting fake videos and pictures immediately.” (Source.)

As I have written several times this year, these huge social media platforms owned by Billionaires are a haven for pornography and child sex trafficking, and they use the Right Wing MAGA crowd to support their platforms, such as X and Telegram, all in the name of “Free Speech” to keep covering up their sexual deviant behavior and the huge profits they make from pornography and sex trafficking.

The other provision in the CR Bill that was not tech-friendly, and would most certainly hurt Elon Musk, was a provision to restrict Tech companies from investing in China for AI.

Congress to vote on new restrictions on U.S. investment in China

Congress is set to vote in the coming days on legislation restricting U.S. investments in China as part of a bill to fund government operations through mid-March, lawmakers said late on Tuesday.

In October, the Treasury finalized rules effective Jan. 2 that will limit U.S. investments in artificial intelligence and other technology sectors in China that could threaten U.S. national security.

The bill expands on those restrictions and also includes other provisions aimed at concerns about China, including a requirement to study national security risks posed by Chinese-made consumer routers and modems and mandate reviews of Chinese real estate purchases near additional national security sensitive sites.

The Chinese Embassy in Washington did not immediately comment.

The bill will also require the Federal Communications Commission to publish a list of every entity that both holds an FCC license or authorization and has any ownership by foreign adversarial governments, including China to ensure the commission “knows when telecommunications and technology companies have a connection and foreign adversary.” (Source.)

If this passes, it will probably greatly reduce revenue from Musk’s Tesla where he already makes $billions in sales in China, as well as prevent him from selling satellite technology to the Chinese.

Elon Musk wants to wait for Trump to take office before deciding on any of these budget bills, and for good reasons, reasons that have nothing to do with the issues MAGA supporters are interested in, however.

Both of these tech-damaging laws that were in the House Bill that Mike Johnson tried to slip through so quickly, would be enforced by government agencies that Musk wants to put his own people into to run, if not get rid of them completely, such as the FTC, the SEC and many others, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Trump team wants to scrap car-crash reporting rule that Tesla opposes

The Trump transition team wants the incoming administration to drop a car-crash reporting requirement opposed by Elon Musk’s Tesla, according to a document seen by Reuters, a move that could cripple the government’s ability to investigate and regulate the safety of vehicles with automated-driving systems.

Musk, the world’s richest person, spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars helping Trump get elected president in November.

Removing the crash-disclosure provision would particularly benefit Tesla, which has reported most of the crashes – more than 1,500 – to federal safety regulators under the program. Tesla has been targeted in National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigations, including three stemming from the data.

The recommendation to kill the crash-reporting rule came from a transition team tasked with producing a 100-day strategy for automotive policy. The group called the measure a mandate for “excessive” data collection, the document seen by Reuters shows.

The Trump transition team, Musk and Tesla did not respond to requests for comment.

Reuters could not determine what role, if any, Musk may have played in crafting the transition-team recommendations or the likelihood that the administration would enact them. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation, a trade group representing most major automakers except Tesla, has also criticized the requirement as burdensome.

A Reuters analysis of the NHTSA crash data shows Tesla accounted for 40 out of 45 fatal crashes reported to NHTSA through Oct. 15. (Source.)

Concluding Act to this Show?

So how is this show going to end? What script is in place for the Concluding Act to 2024 and the first month of 2025 where the elections still need to be certified, by Vice President Kamala Harris, and then Trump is supposed to be inaugurated before the end of January?

I have no idea, but my guesses are probably more accurate than what you read in the U.S. Corporate and “Alternative” News sites, where almost everyone views politics in Washington D.C., not as a show carefully scripted, but as a fight, they believe, between Republicans and Democrats, and then within the Republican Party between MAGA and Rhinos.

If you can repent (change your mind) about this kind of false thinking, then you too can watch events unfold without the demonic deception so many Americans are currently under and suffering from.

Once you do that, you will clearly understand that the issues that are truly important to Americans today have nothing to do with the current theatrics being played at the greatest show on earth, the Washington D.C. circus.

The problems facing Americans today are spiritual, and the only answers lie in Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world, and now provides wisdom and power to those who resist Satan’s world system.

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. (1 John 5:5)
