Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God. (Galatians 6:15-16)
by Brian Shilhavy
Paul’s letter to the believers living in Galatia during the First Century, and recorded in the New Testament portion of the Bible, addresses the issue of how certain Jewish believers who accepted that Jesus Christ was the Messiah were trying to make non-Jewish believers (Gentiles) obey the Law of Moses and be circumcised, the sign of the Old Covenant instituted by Moses.
This was in total contradiction to “the Gospel”, which is the “good news” that one does not need to follow the Old Testament Law or be from any specific ethnic group to become a believer in Jesus Christ, the descendant of Abraham, and that salvation is now available to anyone on a personal level based on their faith, the same faith that Abraham had, and not by obeying the Law or belonging to any group, whether ethnic, religious, or any other group.
Those Jews who were saying otherwise and still claiming that one had to become a Jew by obeying the Law and being circumcised, Paul said were “cursed.”
As I wrote last week, this “curse” on the false believers that Paul proclaimed, is the same curse that now rests on the United States and the Zionist Christians who are doing almost the same exact thing today. See:
The United States of America is Cursed for Rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ
As Paul wrapped up his letter to the Galatians in chapter 6, this is what he wrote:
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand! Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised.
The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your flesh.
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God. (Galatians 6)
These Satanic Jews were attacking the true believers in Jesus Christ, just as they are today all around the world, including the Evangelical Christians today who are acting just like the Satanic Jews who were false believers in Jesus in the New Testament.
They were the majority in their culture back then, and the Zionists are the majority in our culture today under the Trump 2.0 presidency.
Paul encouraged the true believers to “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
He stated the principle, which is still true today, that it is easier to go with the crowd, the majority, because then you will not be persecuted for standing up for Jesus Christ, and the Truth.
“The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.”
As he concludes this letter, Paul uses the term “the Israel of God,” which is a term he has defined in this letter to the Galatians, and also in other letters he wrote that are in the New Testament portion of the Bible.
The Israel of God are the true believers, those who follow in the faith of Abraham, by believing in Jesus Christ and becoming a “new creation” through the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
I quoted many of the things Paul wrote that defines “the Israel of God” in my article last week, but here are some of them again:
Consider Abraham: “He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham:
“All nations will be blessed through you.”
So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. (Galatians 3:6-9)
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.”
The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written:
“Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. (Galatians 3:10-14)
Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case.
The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.
The Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ.
What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise.
For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise.
You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3)
The Persecution of Jesus Christ by his Own Family and Friends
When Jesus began his public ministry of proclaiming that the Kingdom of God was coming, and the gospel message of faith in him as the descendant of Abraham and the fulfillment of the Jewish Messiah and the “Prophet” that Moses stated would come after him – “The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers. You must listen to him.” (Deuteronomy 18:15) – huge crowds turned out to listen to Jesus, because he was healing them and casting out demons sent by Satan, proving his power over Satan and that he was the promised “Prophet” and “Messiah.”
But there is one place where he was not accepted, in his hometown of Nazareth, where they tried to kill him.
The reason they tried to kill him is because he stated that non-Jews had treated the Jewish prophets better than the Jews did, a very similar message that Paul was teaching in his letter to the Galatians.
He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom.
And he stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, and he began by saying to them,
“Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips.
“Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked.
Jesus said to them,
“Surely you will quote this proverb to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself! Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.'”
“I tell you the truth,” he continued, “no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah’s time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land.
Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.
And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed—only Naaman the Syrian.”
All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this.
They got up, drove him out of the town, and took him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw him down the cliff.
But he walked right through the crowd and went on his way. (Luke 4:16-30)
Well here we are today heading into the last quarter of 2025, with over nine months now of serving under the Zionists of the Trump Administration in the United States, and the same two power struggles are still in place.
No, it is not a power struggle between Left and Right, Christian and Non-Christian, or any other fake divisions that the Zionists have created as they serve their master, Satan.
The power struggle is between Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God, and Satan and his worldly kingdom, run by the Satanic Jews.
And if you are among those who have been recreated spiritually with a new heart, reborn spiritually through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, then you are among the minority.
The Satanic Jews did eventually kill Jesus, which was part of the plan all along anyway. So if they tried to kill Jesus, they will also try to silence or kill you also.
And like Jesus, expect the most opposition from your own family and friends.
Jesus said:
“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 10:21-22)
If the world does not hate you, it is probably because you are no threat to Satan and his world system. You are probably still siding with the majority, still attending your Zionist Christian Church, still voting for your favorite “Christian” politicians, because you want “to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.”
This is what Jesus said to his brothers who did not believe in him:
Jesus’ brothers said to him,
“You ought to leave here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may see the miracles you do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since you are doing these things, show yourself to the world.”
For even his own brothers did not believe in him. Therefore Jesus told them,
“The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil.” (John 7:3-7)
Those of us in the minority, who the world may look down upon because of our suffering and our “crazy conspiracy theories”, have the greater power source through Jesus Christ, who is much more powerful than Satan.
That is why Paul wrote at the end of his letter to the Galatians:
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
