Today, nations go to war and justify the mass murder of groups of people based on their ethnicity or religion, all based on a specific view of Christian End Times prophecy.

And while these specific views of the end of the world apocalypse claim to be taught in the Bible, the fact is, they are not.

Anyone who honestly, without prejudicial bias, reads the actual text of the Bible, will clearly see that these views of end-time events that justify hatred and mass murders, are not actually found in the Bible at all, and are 100% dependent on men’s own interpretations and views that they want to present as “fact.”

Let’s look at what Jesus actually said about the “end times,” from Chapter 24 of the Gospel account of Matthew (Emphasis mine).

But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.

For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.

Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.

Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Matthew 24:36-44)

While the truth of these verses is very obvious and need no interpretation, let me state the obvious anyway.

1. Jesus said he did not know when all these events would unfold.

When one reads the entire chapter, some of the things Jesus said about the future were probably fulfilled with the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD. But some of things clearly were not, and will presumably happen in the future.

2. Jesus said his followers also did not know when these events would unfold, and that they should “be ready.”

That’s what he said. Go read it for yourself, in whatever English translation you want to use, because they will all say the same thing.

And yet, even though Jesus said he did not know when these events would unfold, and neither did the angels or his disciples, modern day Christians, particularly the Zionist Evangelical Christians, claim that they do know EXACTLY how these events will unfold, and billions of dollars have been made over the past several decades on books, movies, schools who teach it, and those “expert preachers” who explain it all to the “dumb masses” who they believe are too stupid to read the Bible for themselves to fact check what they say.

And if you disagree with their Zionist Dispensationalism views, then you need to be silenced because you are “antisemitic”. And if you are not silent, then you need to be put in prison, probably down in El Salvador.

And if you are not among the “chosen people” as they define it, then you are less than human and you deserve to be erased, wiped off the face of the earth.

Because they “know” how these events are going to unfold, who the chosen people are, and what the future holds, even though Jesus Christ himself stated that NOT EVEN HE KNEW these things.

I stand with Jesus, and I am ready. Are you?

(Note: Music taste is very personal and to the Christian Music Police who have their halos screwed on too tight and may want to email and criticize me for my music tastes, as they have in the past, I say: please get lost! If you don’t like it, don’t listen to it!

This song was published about a few months after my Spiritual Birth, and I got to see the artist perform shortly after that. So this song has been in my music playlists for about 45 years, constantly reminding me of this biblical truth to “be ready.”)

So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven. (Jesus in Matthew 10:26-33)
