An air traffic controller went public today as a whistleblower and gave an “exclusive” interview with the Wall Street Journal, about just how dangerous air traffic is today, highlighted by recent events where screens went black with flights coming into Newark, NJ.
This man states that there are not enough air traffic controllers to handle current traffic, and that the technology is failing.

Now, there is obviously a shortage of qualified aviation people to keep our planes safe in the air, and recent events prove that the technology software is “error prone” and not safe.
AI is not going to save us, it is going to DESTROY us, as it will NEVER replace the wisdom, experience, and intelligence that humans have, especially in specialized fields such as air traffic control.
The only current solution available to help avert major catastrophes from happening, is reducing the number of planes flying to match the number of air traffic controllers who are still working, something that employees in the industry are obviously calling for, but which business owners watching their bottom line are pushing back against.

This Air-Traffic Controller Just Averted a Midair Collision. Now He’s Speaking Out.

Jonathan Stewart was into his fourth hour overseeing the planes flying near Newark, N.J., when he noticed two aircraft speeding nose-to-nose on his radar scope.
A business jet that had departed the Morristown airport was heading toward another small plane that had taken off from nearby Teterboro, a hub for corporate flying. A midair collision was potentially seconds away with planes flying at the same altitude.
The veteran air-traffic controller had been scribbling callsigns for the planes and flight information in a notebook, worried that radar and radio communication might fail as they had days earlier.
After recognizing the unfolding conflict, he instructed the pilots to turn the planes away from each other, which they did.
But Stewart, 45 years old, was badly shaken. Hours after the May 4 incident, he fired off an email to Federal Aviation Administration managers, criticizing their leadership.
“I take my job very seriously, as I do the safety of the flying public, and take pride in my performance,” he wrote.
For years, the FAA has struggled to fully staff air-traffic facilities and keep critical technology running. Frustrated with the current work situation and his own close call, Stewart took stress-related trauma leave, a benefit available for controllers.
“I don’t want to be responsible for killing 400 people,” he said in an interview.
Controllers rarely speak to the media publicly, especially without the supervision of public-affairs officials. Stewart said he wanted to set the record straight about controllers who he said had been demonized in news coverage.
Several controllers Stewart works with have also taken leave, some after tech glitches temporarily interrupted their radios, radar and backups—incidents they feared could have catastrophic outcomes.
Controller absences and equipment problems have roiled the FAA’s air-traffic operation.
They have also resulted in flight delays and deep disruptions at Newark Liberty International Airport and elsewhere.
This week, an air-traffic facility near Denver lost communications for 90 seconds, an incident that the agency is investigating.
Stewart sees staffing as among the biggest problems in air-traffic control. Thin ranks of controllers limit how many aircraft can be managed effectively, he said.
He prefers controllers spending no more than two hours actively working traffic. Otherwise, it’s easy to lose focus and get tired.
“Like anything else, you’re going to have a breaking point,” Stewart said.

China is forcing EV car makers in China to stop using terms like “fully autonomous” driving after several deadly crashes.
They want consumers who drive these vehicles to understand that the technology can NOT drive cars by themselves, and can only “assist” drivers, so drivers can be more aware of the dangers.
Unfortunately for Americans, the EXACT OPPOSITE is happening in the U.S., as Elon Musk and DOGE have fired most of the people in government agencies who were investigating all the deadly crashes of Tesla cars claiming that they are “fully autonomous”.
Big Tech, especially now under Trump, is going to force this technology on people in the U.S. whether they want it or not, and whether it is safe or not, whereas China is more closely regulating the industry and trying to protect people from the false claims of the Technocrats.

Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers are adjusting promotional terminology for advanced driving systems, replacing terms like “intelligent driving” with descriptions such as “assisted driving” to align with stricter regulatory definitions.
Under updated guidelines from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), several major Chinese automakers have adjusted their technical labeling since April.
At the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, XPeng rebranded its driver-assistance technology as “AI-assisted driving” and announced plans to launch the industry’s first “AI Driving Safety Boot Camp,” focusing on clarifying system limitations and demonstrating new features through enhanced user training, the Economic Observer reported.
An industry analyst attributed this terminology recalibration to growing regulatory scrutiny.
“Overly optimistic terms like ‘fully autonomous’ created dangerous gaps between consumer expectations and technological realities,” Wu Shuocheng, a veteran automobile industry analyst, told the Global Times on Monday.
“Standardized labeling helps reset public understanding.”
“These changes reflect China’s balanced approach to fostering innovation while prioritizing safety,” Wu said.
“By tempering marketing hype, regulators create space for sustainable technological advancement.”
As public discussion about smart driving safety intensifies, Wu called for people to have realistic expectations:
“While new technologies bring exciting possibilities, drivers should never become complacent. These systems require active human oversight at all times.”

During his Congressional hearing to be approved as Secretary of HHS, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. falsely stated back in January that AI robots are now “just as effective as doctors,” presenting the Trump Administration’s goals of increasing the use of AI in government. See:

In hearings before Congress this week, the HHS Secretary said that AI would replace many human workers whose jobs are being cut at HHS, and that AI could even take over clinical trials eliminating the use of animal studies.
Again, as I have previously stated, they are going to FORCE this AI on the American public even if it is ineffective and dangerous, because human resources have drastically dwindled since the COVID Shots, especially in the medical industry (which we falsely call “Health Care”) as so many doctors, nurses, and others QUIT during the mandated COVID shots, and most of them are NOT returning to the corrupt medical system.
If you lose access to your favorite doctor, will you agree to share your private medical situation to an AI robot instead?
The day may soon be here, especially for those who are on Medicare or Medicaid, where you will have NO CHOICE.

RFK Jr.: HHS ‘Aggressively’ Leveraging AI to Offset Budget Cut Impacts
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the head of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), told lawmakers on Wednesday that HHS is “very aggressively” leveraging AI technologies to drive efficiencies and offset the operational impacts of proposed cuts in the department’s fiscal year (FY) 2026 budget.
Kennedy highlighted health IT as a priority under the proposed budget, which he said aims to “shift funding away from bureaucracy and toward direct impact.”
“We will strengthen cybersecurity and health IT,” Kennedy pledged to members of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee on May 14 when discussing the budget’s priorities.
“The AI revolution has arrived, and we are already using new technology to manage health data more efficiently and securely.”
HHS has already started to make cuts across its workforce. Roughly 20,000 employees have been let go at HHS – 10,000 through a reduction in force and 10,000 who opted to take part in the deferred resignation program.
“We are very, very aggressively implementing AI, and I think we’re going to do it faster and better than anybody else in government, any other agency,” he said.
“We brought very, very high-quality caliber people from Silicon Valley … We can shorten clinical trials. We can. We can get rid of animal trials, which we’re already doing.”

Just to show how short-sighted and ignorant this is, let me highlight one thing that Kennedy said in his Senate hearing this week, which I listened to, and as MeriTalk [9] reports:
According to HHS, the restructuring will “centralize core functions,” including those working in IT, human affairs, procurement, external affairs, and policy.
Kennedy promoted the benefits of that consolidation to lawmakers, noting there are 40 different procurement departments within HHS with “four separate computer systems that don’t talk to each other.”
As a former Microsoft Systems Engineer myself with over 25 years of experience in technology, I can assure you that having Government offices and departments with their own separate networks that “don’t talk to each other” is a BENEFIT, and a security SAFEGUARD.
When you “consolidate” and link all these systems together, then a simple breakdown or virus in one system, will rapidly spread to other systems, and bring down that whole “consolidated” system.
Whereas if you keep them as four separate networks with no links between them so that they “don’t talk to each other”, then such failures will only bring down the one network, and not the other three that “don’t talk to each other”.
That should be Network Security 1.0 in Cyber Security, but the MAHA people apparently do not even have this basic, simple understanding of how technology works.
And we are all going to suffer more and more, as the recent news about the near catastrophe in air traffic flying into New Jersey the past two weeks has so vividly proven that the technology does not perform as advertised, and puts millions of people’s lives at risk.
I hate to be the pessimist here, but sometimes that is the path Truth leads us down, and it is only going to get worse from here, as we keep investing $billions more into this technology, and the false belief that computers can replace humans, which will continue to make this country less safe, and less secure.
